![]() Davydd Cook |
Fili the Dwarf / William the Troll / Goblin /
Mirkwood Spider / Wood Elf King / Laketown Man Fresh from his debut musical performance in Korda's touchy-Fili presentation of The Rocky Horror Show, Davydd is surprised to find that Trollcan mean to sing or play in a jovial manner, and wondering why director Jeff Marontate wants him to keep doing it. A veteran of some 70 stage productions, he may seem like a prince— nay, a king among Elves, but he can be found just as often hunched, Goblin-like, near a computer, in some other dark space, or perhaps just nursing a bruise. He's pleased and excited to be caught once more in Korda's web, and while he might never feel truly comfortable in a Laketown, he feels very much at home working with Tracey, Jeff, Beth, and the amazing group they've assembled. Ai Thorin, lle caele mi ie'kala! Hobbit Name: Droggo Moss of Lake-by-Downs Elven Name: Elrohyrr Vardamir |
![]() David Fenner |
Bombur the Dwarf / Goblin Dave identifies himself as a Buffalo Sabres fan first and foremost. In high school, hoping to play a bison, Dave auditioned for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. Much to his dismay, he was asked to play the Pharaoh instead. Realizing that he might actually have some interest in the theatre, or perhaps just attracted to the bright lights, he agreed to perform in the Sears Festival. A great thrill arose within Dave when he received an Award of Excellence at this Ontario showcase. What Dave learned at this point was how appealing his work in theatre made him to women. Now in his second year in the BFA Acting program at the University of Windsor, Dave enjoys long walks on the beach, dinner by candlelight, and has big plans for the future, but sorry ladies, this young man is in a long-term relationship with Rachel Beaudin, his beautiful girlfriend. Always bring your smiles, jokes, and movie quotes to Dave as he would be very appreciative; just don't botch those quotes because that is just about the only thing that makes Dave angry, and you wouldn't like him when he's angry... GRRRRR!!! Hobbit Name: Drogo Took of Great Smials Elven Name: Elrohir Tîwele |

![]() Christopher Menard |
Thorin Oakenshield Christopher Lawrence Menard is 23 years old and has been away from the performing arts for quite some time. A writer first and foremost, his pursuit of a degree in English, Language and Literature at the University of Windsor and running the campus newspaper for over 3 years kept him away from the stage, but he couldn't be more thrilled about his return to the world of performance. (Whatever spark was ignited when he first dressed as a monkey to play King Louis in grade five is still burning bright.) He is excited to be back, to be playing Thorin, to be working with this unique and talented group, and of course to be involved with the exciting Korda Productions in its sophomore year.
