The Learned Ladies Cast
![]() Tracey Atin Philaminte |
Tracey is a busy and versatile performer. She has recently appeared with Windsor Light Opera (Swingtime Canteen), The Purple Theatre Company (The Cat's Pajamas; Love, Fire, and other things you shouldn't put in your mouth) and of course with Korda Productions (How I Learned to Drive with Breathe Art Theatre Project, Psycho Beach Party). She also manages to find time to be a teacher, a parent, and stressed out. |
![]() Danielle Boissonneault Henriette |
Casino Auditor by day, actress by night, Danielle is thrilled to have finally learned her lines (or so we hope!) She last performed with Korda Productions as Janet in The Rocky Horror Show. She is excited to be wearing a Kelly Ridley original this evening (and looks forward to not knocking anyone over with it during the show!) Danielle's most recent performance was for The Capitol Repertory's Players comedy musical revue A Christmas Survival Guide. Her favourite roles include Jennie in Chapter Two, Edie in A Need for Less Expertise and The Baker's Wife in Into the Woods. Special thanks to the cast for being so much fun! |
![]() Ryan Connelly Julien |
Ryan is thrilled to be making his debut with Korda Productions as Julien in this fine rendition of Molière's The Learned Ladies. He is equally thrilled about working with such a vibrant, friendly, fun, and above all, talented group! No stranger to the theatre, this second year Drama in Education & Community student has held the roles of Sir Harry in Once Upon a Mattress and Mr. MacAfee in Bye Bye Birdie, as well as minor roles in various student written/directed works. Ryan also enjoys directing, having been assistant director on Bye Bye, Birdie and his highschool's entry into the 2003 Sears Drama Festival, String Quartet. Ryan would like to thank his friends and family for their amazing support, Jeff and Tracey for giving him this opportunity, and you, the audience for sharing this with us! Thank you, and enjoy the show! |
![]() Davydd Cook Vadius |
How old do you think I look? This is the second time that Mr. Marontate has asked Mr. Cook to play a character who can shake his head and mutter "damn kids today" about those pesky nonagenarians. Mr. Cook thinks he had fun the first time, but his memory isn't what it used to be. Still, the high heels seem awfully familiar.... Davydd has previously appeared with Korda Productions in The Rocky Horror Show, The Hobbit and Psycho Beach Party, and looks hopefully forward to continuing until they stick his bent, withered body into the ground. |
![]() Adam Giles Lepine |
The Northern Phantom. Adam has been working on the Windsor scene for 3 years now. He has worked with Purple Theatre, Theatre Intrigue, Theatre Windsor, and Korda Productions. His last role with Korda was playing the creature Gollum in The Hobbit last spring. He is thrilled to be on stage agian with Korda and hopes to work more throughout the Windsor stages. |
![]() Devin Hughes Trissotin |
In all honesty, Devin forced Korda Productions, by blackmail, to give him the role of the hack poet, Trissotin. Originally from the tomato capital of Canada, Devin now resides in Windsor where he spends most of his time wandering aimlessly. He has been acting for over 10 years, but this is his first performance in Windsor. Some previous roles include Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls, Demetrius in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Dr. Pinch in A Comedy of Errors. Devin also won an award from the Eastern Ontario Drama League for his performance in A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum. He will be deeply missed. |
![]() Clare Kilpatrick Belise |
Clare has been involved with theatre since the age of 6
when she was an angel in the school Christmas pageant because
she was a chubby strawberry blonde with a white taffeta dress. Since then she has studied drama and worked in theatre management and stage costuming but every now and again is compelled to appear onstage to satisfy her exhibitionist side and make a total fool of herself. |
![]() Katie MacTavish Martine |
Including The Hobbit and Psycho Beach Party, this is Katie's third performance with Korda Productions with hopes that it will not be the last. Katie has always loved the stage, which is why she is currently enrolled at the University of Windsor for her second year in the BFA Acting program. Katie would like to thank the cast and crew for making this a wonderful and exhilarating experience. |
![]() Christopher Menard Clitandre |
Though Korda shows have previously seen him portray a dwarf king and a middle-aged, psychotic woman, 24 year-old Christopher Lawrence Menard is pleased to step into the role of Clitandre, the young suitor of Henriette. However, he has found tripping over iambic pentameter more frustrating than tripping over heels. |
![]() James Neely Chrysale |
James Neely has been active in theatre in the Windsor
area for almost 25 years. His first role was as Kurt Schneider in
Detective Story, 1981, and he hasn't stopped since. He has
appeared in dramas, musicals, comedies, dinner theatre, murder
mysteries, independent films, and commercials, playing many
different roles from that of a homicidal farmer in I'll Be Back
Before Midnight, to Superman in Heroes, to God in If
God Comes To Breakfast, Don't Burn the Toast. Though he hasn't
had to wear high heels and a wig since La Cage, he is
pleased not to need the prosthesis from Lysistrata. It's
amazing what you can get an actor to parade around in! When not on stage, this retired teacher can be found burning holes in the sky in his homebuilt aircraft, tearing up and down the River Road on his motorcycle, or just driving his lovely wife Nancy crazy building something else in the basement. |
![]() Gil Percy Ariste |
Although Gil is a veteran of the local theatre scene, this is his first appearance with Korda Productions. He has appeared recently in The Fantasticks, Of Mice and Men, and To Kill a Mockingbird. He has also directed Steel Magnolias, Marvin's Room, and Wrong for Each Other. |
![]() Kelly Ridley Armande |
Kelly was so excited about the costumes for The Learned Ladies that she accidentally auditioned for the show when director Jeff Marontate said "here, read this". |
![]() Mitch Snaden Notary |
This is the first show that Mitch has been involved in, in quite some time in the Windsor area. He can trace his roots back to Windsor Light Players back in 1981. So long ago he has forgotten the name of the show. After that it was the bright lights and fame and fortune of London, Ontario, where Mitch honed his talent and theatre experience. You the audience will be the ones to decide if he needs to be sent back for more training. |
